OT Buck Rogers aliens [was Errand of Mercy - Thoughts]

The premise of the second season of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century"
(c.1980) was exactly this: the _Searcher_ was searching for the "lost
tribes" of humanity. Given the show's timeline, this is just barely
plausible.

I'm not sure if the Draconian Empire was meant to be one of these
groups. Certainly the most successful of them, if so.

(Did BR25 have *any* non-human aliens? Aside from Princess Ardala's
pet strongman, Tigerman, who may've just been tattooed.)

Hawk, the "Spock" (ouch!) character introduced the second season.
I'm thinking he was Earthian, but not human, actually from a
species of birds that was driven off by Mankind. (Couldn't cope
with Men way back in prehistory, so they took off for the stars?)
Mark Lenard (ouch!!) played a character who could take off his
head, which suggests that -although humanoid- he wasn't human.
I'm almost remembering a blue-skinned dwarf, but I'll just drop
all the way back to Lost in Space with "the pain, the pain."
