be a problem?

Well, that's it, you see. We are GIVEN BY THE STORY that the witch is
evil. Is she?
When they ask for directions to the Witch, they are told that they will know
they are in her country because she will try to make them her slaves. Making
someone your slave is evil by most standards. The witch is later asked
if she will make them her slaves by one of her wolves, in a context which
implies that this is a typical thing for her to do. She replies that since
they are not fit to work, the wolf can tear them into small pieces. The
book then goes on to actually *call the Winkies slaves. She tries to force
the Cowardly Lion to pull her cart by imprisoning him without food. And of
course the Winkies rejoice when she's finally dead.
But then, we're given by the story that she does these things. Perhaps the
story is lying about them, too.
Looking at the movie, the most tyrannical thing I saw was that she
made her palace guard wear silly uniforms. If that justifies killing
her, then I am afraid that Elizabeth II is in a heap of trouble.
And looking at the movie, we find that Starship Troopers....
