He made up a virtually-fctional stance, and attributed it to others and will now insists that anyone who says that's not what they said or meant is lying, and not only lying but has admitted to lying.

There's nowhere further to go; it's just a game. You'll note Wasp didn't bother with it, beyond clarifying what he'd meant and leaving it at that.
