Their website, knock yourself out.
Okay, that would be:
<http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes>
When I go there, I see arrayed across the top:
"Nobel Prize in Physics"
"Nobel Prize in Chemistry"
"Nobel Prize in Medicine"
"Nobel Prize in Literature"
"Nobel Peace Prize"
"Prize in Economics"
One of these things is not like the other ones, one of these things
is not the same.
Looking further down, I see:
"Every year since 1901 the Nobel Prize has been awarded for achievements
in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and for peace.
The Nobel Prize is an international award administered by the Nobel
Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank established
The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred
Nobel, founder of the Nobel Prize."
No sign of equality there, either.
And why s their opinion significant?
Why do you think YOUR opinion is relevant? They are in charge of
Alfred Nobel's legacy.
Which The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred
Nobel is not. The Nobel Prizes are funded from his legacy, this prize is
funded by Sveriges Riksbank.
I would have called the Nobel Peace Prize out because Henry Kissinger
won that one, which as we all know was pointed out by Tom Lehrer, as
being the end of political satire.
