And you're surprised that people aren't eager to converse with you.
You really are a moron.
I'm giving him the level of discussion he requested. I'm polite as
long as others are polite.
Sorry. You actually mean "I'm polite as long as others are polite FIRST".
I was not impolite to Schattke until after he had been impolite to me.
You were impolite to all of us collectively, and only specialized to being
impolite to specific people after they were impolite to you.
You came in here in full impolite arrogant not-checking-the-previous-thread
You don't know what I did or did not check.
Sure I do; you weren't prepared at all for the reception you got, and had
not read the previous threads here at all. You had just gotten word from
either James himself, or from someone reading the threads, that people weren't
being nice to James, in fact they were being mean and nasty to him and denying
that his assertions matched reality. So you stormed in to set us all right
because James was of course virginally pure in motive and we had all mistaken
his meanings.
My initial remarks in this thread were not aimed at Schattke, but at Bill
Snyder and three others.
Oh joy. That makes it all so much better, dear.
Out of all of the rest of you, only David Goldfarb had the
balls to breathe the slightest criticism of those four.
Gee, could that have something to do with the fact that James is clearly in
the wrong on everything he's been trying to froth about?
overbearing defend-James-Donald mode, and were apparently surprised when
people dared to note that you weren't being consistent, polite, respectful,
or particularly truthful.
Oh yes, I responded so transgressively to this polite remark:
"Simple explanation: James A. Donald is bat*** crazy and has the IQ
of a diseased monkey turd."
Well, I don't see anything FACTUALLY wrong with it. Are you unhappy because
our reserves of tact have been used up from dealing with James for weeks on
end?
My transgression consisted in pointing out that this and similar
remarks were scornful,
O NOES
GET THE MANNERS POLICE
PEOPLE ARE BEING _scornful_ ON TEH INTERNETZ!
and in observing that this tactic of using
scorn in an attempt to shut people up is increasingly common on Usenet.
Oh, we're not trying to shut you up. Or, really, James. We're TRYING to
_EDUCATE_ him, and get him to realize that the stuff he's saying bears no
visible relation to reality, and along the way derail his Big Lie techniques
of trying to repeat the bat*** crazy until everyone else involved has
killfiled him.
How terrible.
It is a pity what misunderstandings some people have. But you can be cured.
Dave
