Maybe we're just greedy?

Paying for the water really isn't an issue. It's getting it
_at all_, at any price, that's the problem.

Or maybe it's people in the low
population eastern bits, where it's high desert and
Californians don't move anyway?

So, you think we're taking water from the desert, in
preference to the rainy parts?

Just guessing that that crowd might potentially want the water
to go to them rather than you.

Perhaps, but all Oregonians look alike to me.
