The low British birthrate, and the ridiculous defeats of
the British by a handful of primitives, have common
cause.  The slightly higher US birthrate, and the
slightly less humiliating US military performance, also
have a common cause.  The British, in a self fulfilling
prophecy, really were defeated by handful of ignorant
savages in Basra and in Helmand province  The US troops
eventually shrugged off the prophecy, but came close to
self inflicted defeat.

Well the British were certainly defeated by someone in Basra and in
Helmand - someone that the US was able to deal with well enough. Who
do you think did it?
