I am not sure I would recommend any. Twenty-odd years ago I read all
of Elric saga, and loved it. Within last year I re-read first book,
and my reaction was "Is that all?" Now it looks very simplistic.

Moor*** almost invented the concept of haunted, brooding, doomed anti-
hero, but others had improved on it since, and it did not take long.
Raistlin is a better Elric than Elric ;) and I am sure there have been
similar and better examples since.
