Huh. No, I don't remember that scene. I remember Phedre
relaying that that scene happened, /ob skene/ (come to think of it,
that's a great and accurate description of the way Carey writes), but
then that was part of the point. *Her* god uses her in no more or
less a reverent way than, say, the *** used Ista in the _Chalion_
series.
