In the Year of the Earth Rat, the Great and Powerful Mike Schilling declared:
> He was trying to be clever, and it backfired on him. Boo-hoo. Maybe next time he asked about Iraq, he'll answer with some Straight Talk (tm).
Ah, the mendacity of him to admit that even if Iraq forms a stable government tomorrow and all the insurgents pack up to go home, we'll end up with a long-term military presence in the country. He should be forthright like Obama about how he wants to end the war, but fail to mention that it'll take years, if not decades, to extricate ourselves from the country. Or maybe be like Clinton and only admit it in front of audiences who aren't likely to boo over it.

"Bastardy" is in the dictionary, even if the word is so antiquated that my Microsoft Word program regards it as a spelling error.
