This came out in the first half of the 1980s. It was a coffee-table book
presented as a guide to planets which had been colonised by humans.
I remember three of them:
Mammon, the incredibly rich planet stuffed with gold and uranium. It had a
really tall tower.
Planet B had two separate oceans, one higher than the other. Official sea
level was half-way between the two actual sea levels.
Planet C had a not-very-intelligent native race called Trups, who were
used as servants by the human colonists. Trups had three legs, three arms
and three eyes. Mouth on top of the body.
Title and author please.
Well ... I can tell this is NOT the Transgalactic Guide to Solar System M-17,
from googling for its contents (faster than finding it in my ... hmm, no it
isn't, I can reach out and touch it. heh - but I'd still have to skim through
it). So my first instinctual answer is worthless. My desultory googling does
not seem to turn up any good candidates...
