That seems like a pretty good analysis to me. I read
"Hyperion" and found it less than wonderful. Not bad (I'd
certainly never say it was the stupidest book I have
ever read) but not really my sort of story. Certainly
not something I'd be likely to pick up and re-read, like
"Ringworld" or "The Mote in God's Eye", or "World of
Ptavvs", or...

That's interesting. As an INTJ, I do like closure. A book without
answers is frustrating. There needs to be some "end" to the story,
even if it isn't obvious and I have to work a bit to figure it out.
