Why are whites 100 IQ, exactly? You've stated that the IQ range
system is the same regardless of where it is tested and whom is
tested. So, why do whites happen to hit 100? Are they somehow
supposed to be ones everyone else is judged against? Fishy
coincidence, imho. But I am nitpicking here.

Now, the study could say "blacks - 102". Or "blacks - 98". Either
102 or 98 (or 95/105) would be a significant and contentious
difference in aggregate, but would be hard to judge personally, from
anecdotal experience. You would have to manipulate statistics
carefully to tease out the data and a layman would not really be able
to judge anything by his personal experience. That level of claim
would make Bell Curve an interesting read.

However, rating folks at 84, or 116, is an entirely different kettle
of fish. Someone at 84 IQ is to put it bluntly, not the brighest bulb
in the chandelier. "Dumb" comes to mind. Dumb enough that you
_would_ pick it up in a relatively short conversation with that
person, without being a psych. Dumb enough that that level of mental
capacity can become an issue in a criminal trial. For example,
Pickton (a serial killing suspect in BC) has an IQ of about 80-85.
This is being used by the defense, with his non-genius friends
testifying that you can tell that he is just a wee bit slow.

So, if black people are supposedly 84 IQ on average, it would mean
that, on average, any black person I would speak would be recognizedly
slow, to the point where I, and others, could pick it up. At that
level of deviation from the norm, it's not just lack of education that
shows.

So, let's not hide behind the "not my fault, those are the scientific
facts" argument you have been using. You are directly contradicting
my personal experience, which is that, on average, black people I know
and have spoken to are not recognizably much smarter or dumber than
whites I talk to. And, I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years, so it's
not just because I get to hang with the chosen few at the office.
Most of my friends would agree as well, I think (hope).

So, are you willing to say that in _your_ personal experience _you_
find black people stupid when you talk to them? Don't just hide
behind the book and specious DNA arguments about 10000 people at some
point. Or talk about Oprah or Condi. What do _you_ think?

In conclusion, the number of 84 you are quoting directly leads me to
believe that there is little value for me in reading Bell Curve. No
matter how fancily the statistics are trotted out. Ever heard of
Disraeli's quote?

No point in taking you seriously either. But you've made that pretty
clear in all your posts so far.

What I think is that the black population for some reason probably are
not as intellegent on the whole as other "races". My thinking is that
because in Africa, which is a dangerous place to live with the
animals, much less other people it could be as Darwin said, survival
of the fittest. In Africa it was more important to be fast, strong,
jump high, than to have a high I.Q. It was not an important part of
survival. That is just my opinion. But the education people know it
is true, but they will spit blood rather than say it. It's a career
