So let me get this straight:
- Traditional writers have to give up some rights to their work to
agents, publishers, and distributors, often losing all control over
how it's marketed, and never see much of the proceeds derived from it.
- Bloggers and other online writers write what they want, when they
want, monetizing it (or not) as they want, giving away only the rights
that they wish to.
Which one of those is supposed to be the peasant? *
