No, and I don't know how to use mp3s. If you had a link to the
lyrics I'd look at that.

You open the mp3 file and Windows Media Player or Quicktime should
automatically launch and play the mp3 sound file for you.

That assumes the software is on her computer; I'd not be surprised if
neither it nor any other music playing software was.

Well, if it's a standard Windows installation, Windows Media Player is
included; if it's a standard Mac installation, recently, Quicktime is
included.

I'm pretty sure that QuickTime has been included in _all_ Mac installs since
System 7.5 in about 1994. (I _think_ that it was first bundled in with System
7.1, in about 1992, but it's been a while...) Certainly it's been included in
all versions of OS X. And it's been available, free, from Apple's site since
QT 2.1 or so. (QT 2 was a pay upgrade; that didn't go over well, so Apple
two-tracked things: free QT for the masses who just want to play back things
that others produce, and pay QT, a.k.a. QT Pro, for those who wanted to
produce audio or video files.) iTunes uses QT to handle audio and video
files.

Apple also produces QT for WIndows. And Microsoft _used_ to produce WMP for
Mac; a 3rd party, Flip4Mac, now produces a QT plug-in which allows _some_ WMP
files to play using QT. Mickeysoft, for reasons known best to the Beast of
Redmond, declines to allow release of certain WMP codecs, so some WMP files
simply don't play on Macs. Period. This was so even when Mickeysoft produced
WMP for Mac, so I suspect that this will never change.

And there are other free players out there; I use Winamp3 (no, not 5; I
happen
to like 3, which is completely different) myself.
