Its a light hearted comedy about the world of fairy tales. The central

She becomes a dragons princess to learn and not get married. The
attempted rescues by her betrothed and others are kind of funny.
Knights and princes are expected to rescue princesses from dragons.

Kind of Shrekesque but closer to original fairy tales. Book two has a
funny section about a giant and his wife. Giant hates Englishman and is
convinced all Englishmen are named Jack.

For comedy fantasy its not as funny as Mythadventures novels which is
laugh out loud funny. But far better then most of the Xanth novels - the
first few were good though - through Dragon on a Pedestal.

Two more books to go. I guess there are 4 books to the series.

Any other good books by her?

Just a couple of comments. A fairly good list of her
works appears in other responses. I generally like her
works, but it seems to me that _The Raven Ring_ is quite
a bit better than her earlier Lyra novels. I think
maybe writing The Enchanted Forest novels, and the
Regency novels, both her own and with Caroline
Stevermer, kind of loosened her up. _The Raven Ring_
seems to be to be a bit less intense than the others.

I am keeping my eyes open in case she writes some more.
