One of the most famous clauses [1] in all of RAH's work is "The door

I was reading WJW's _Ambassador of Progress_ a few minutes ago.

"Fiona thought her inner clothing and hood to a bright red color in

of cheering herself."
That's on page 11 in my paperback edition. The only reason I know this
is -- and this qualifies as my spooky[1] moment of the month -- because
this is the book I started reading after finishing _The Hallowed Hunt_
two nights ago.
I now own THH in hardback ($1.50 at a library sale), and while I was
unimpressed the first time, I'll probably re-read it soon based on your
recommendation.
Is this a re-read for you? (I kind of figured you'd read all of WJW's
stuff.)
No, I'd never read some of his older books,. I went on a used paperback
binge a few months ago and now own the collection.
