Mike,

I don't want to violate our agreement, so let me know if you
want to find out what Darrell Bain said about my novel.

Congratulations. In addition to your pitiful track record here,
you have now broken your word, and done so in such a way that
has caused another person to pay the price.

I really can't feel sorry for Mike. I know he's not a drooling
retard (like Eggy), so he just plain Should Have Known Better.

I don't feel sorry for Mike. I'd guess he's only surprised
by how long it took for Eggleton to break his word. I don't
know how Mike sees it of course, but if I had done it, I'd
classify it as a worthwhile experiment - low risk, possible
(but unlikely) high payoff.

Even with the loss, Mike has ensured that Eggleton - to Eggleton's
own standards, which I expect was a major piece in play here - can
never play the integrity card, nor any number of other cards.

Worse, there is no
doubt that you knew this would happen upon breaking your word.

Do you understand what you've done Robert? You consciously
chose to do something that would cause harm to another and none
to yourself.

Rule #2: spammers are stupid.

Yes - this one seems to be of the One True Believer variety.
If only we of the oblivious unthinking masses could see through
his revolutionary and pioneering eyes....

And you're a therapist working with children? God help them.

Rule #1: spammers lie.

I hope this one is - if he couldn't control himself for these
pitifully small stakes (the guy is spamming most of the known
cyberverse, and he can't stay away from a usenet group?), and in
turn consciously cost someone else solely in the name of his own
gain, I'd hope that he does not have access to vulnerable children.
