There's a thought. I really don't know. I get passionate about this
sort of stuff because I think this is the sin qua non of what makes us
rational beings. There has been nothing like the scientific method of
inquiry for increasing our awareness of how the world works, or how to
bend it to our needs, or understanding ourselves and the way we
behave. It cuts through all those previous cankerous bad ways of
thinking, all the politics, the tribalisms, the exceptionalists, the
religoniousity (the bad kind).
No. I will not give it up.
