Okay, so exactly where do we disagree now, let's boil it down.
My proposition is that Wells had a value system wherein
1)The morlocks "eat the rich" policy makes them more inhuman
2) The Eloi are still human enough for the Time Traveller to have
"mutual tenderness " for. Is that or is that not a romance? Let's us
not get side tracked. :-)
Wells in essence is FOR the working classes but nowhere are they
depicted as having any recognizable human traits.
The Eloi still have gratitude and " mutual tenderness". :-)
A socialist, self-preventing prophecy clearly addressed TO the upper
class, and not to the workers.
