I'm given to understand, by a movie industry friend who works all
over the world, that this really is a big deal to Canadian border
officials. He's been told, point blank, more than once, that the
_only_ reason they let him in the country is that there is no one in
Canada who can do the job (or, rather, who has access to the props
he's bringing in).
