As I said on the SFBC blog, eight books means that you could
do one book each on the planets (Plus, I don't know, toss in a pamphlet
for Pluto).

Coming up with a classic SF book associated with each world might
be tricky outside of Venus-Earth-Mars, though.

Mercury:"Madness has its method" (Niven)
Venus: Space Caadet (Heinlein)
Earth: Earth (Brin, irresistable suggestion)
Mars: Take one of the classical swords, deserts, canals books
Saturn:
Jupiter: 2001
Uranus:
Neptune:
Pluto: Have spacesuit, will travel

I think RAH is off the table because I am pretty sure the club
already has editions of his YA work. Also, Pluto is no longer a planet,
just as Conrad Black is no longer a Canadian.

Mercury:
Venus:
Earth: Imperial Earth, Arthur C. Clarke
Mars:
Jupiter: Jupiter, Fred and Carol Pohl (It's the collection you get if you
assemble all the classic Jupiter stories)
Saturn:
Uranus:
Neptune: Triton, Samuel R. Delany
