I picked up the first two books of the series at a yard sale.

I could not find the listed third of the series anywhere but noticed
that the first two books were 1994 and 1995 release dates.

Any ideas when the third book is out ? I hate authors who leave years
betwen books like that.

I wouldn't hold your breath; it's one of the famously late books of our
time. (She also owes that publisher, DAW, her sequel to THE GOLDEN KEY
-- the story I heard was that she tried to write those books
concurrently in about 1995-96 and it came out badly.)

She has a completely separate new book, _Spellbinder_, coming from a
very different publisher this fall. The new one is one of those trendy
contemporary fantasy thingies with a tough-but-tender female heroine,
and probably romance elements. (Once again I wish for a better name for
this subgenre than the too-narrow "vampire shagging" or the
vastly-too-broad "urban fantasy.")
