Uh, nope. A "pint" is the unit by which beer is served in pubs; it is
defined as 568ml, for historical reasons.

Big deal. "Pints", "Pounds" and "Feet" in the US are defined legally
in terms of liters, kilograms, and meters. By that standard, the
US is fully metric, and has been for many decades.
