What book to you pull off the shelf?
Mood would matter. Probably _Kim_ but maybe _Three Hearts & Three
Lions_, _Merchanter's Luck_, _Glory Road_ or _The October Country_ Of
course, _Why You Lose at Bridge_, _The Glory of their Times_ or _The
Biggest Game in Town_ might also catch my eye, among others. Or a
collection of short stories where Spider Robinson asked various authors
to pick stories. "The Man Who Traveled in Elephants" was in it and so
was "Our Lady's Juggler." There was a great short story involving the
southwestern U.S. and fantasy, title I can't remember.
