OK, we've done funny spaceship names, now how about really big spaceships? There is the Deathstar from Star Wars. David Webber's Dahak series has the Earth's Moon replaced by a spaceship.

I'm guessing E. E. "Doc" Smith was the first to have a whole planet go mobile. Once you get bigger than a planet, what's the point in travelling?
