That all reads like Greek to me. I get the individual words but
string those puppies together and I'm a-boggled. Heck, I'm not
even sure who you're talking about. I think I need better meds.

[James' explanation snipped]

James, I'm struck that you described Archie Bunker in detail while
implicitly assuming that the Ultra-Humanite needed no explanation.
:-)

For those few who may have missed a close acquaintance with
1930s/40s Superman comics and the 70s/80s revival of the Golden Age
characters (and, to be fair, an appearance on the Cartoon Network
Justice League show, though without reference to the schtick being
referenced here): the Ultra-Humanite started his career as a
standard-issue (if unusually-armed) gangster who tangled with
Superman. After more standard dodges around "No one could have
survived that!" (escaping a plane crash via parachute), he was
apparently killed by an exploding gun. His minions then had his
brain transplanted into the body of an actress, and he went back
into business. Later still he had his brain transplanted again
into a mutated albino gorilla. Thus "pulled an UltraHumanite on" =
"transplanted his brain into".
