Someone told him to "Get a life!" and he went ahead and did that.

Looks like he's posted to a couple of other groups in the past year.
He'll be back. It's the ebb and flow of life, Usenet and everything.

It's this whole actually doing stuff thing that ruins perfectly
good usenet careers: I just ran across Geoffrey Landis on another group
and he's been committing space research, too. Applied, though, not pure.

The arxiv list for Stein Siggurdsson is rather interesting
looking.
