I'm not twisting my self up nor is any one else that I know. I'll understand if your subpar social skills lead you to misread the situation. There is at least one difference between the relationship between Scotland and England vs Canada and the US and that's 1707. Concerns about perfidious Englishmen working some kind of under- handed annexation deal with Scotland would be just under three hundred years late (And I have to say, I am quite curious to see what, if any, celebrations are planned for 2007). Interestingly, as near as I can tell, prior to the Act of Union, 20% of the population of Great Britain lived in Scotland and now, about 8% do. -- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/ http://www.livejournal.com/users/james_nicoll .
