According to ISFDB [1], The Truants dates back to 1950. I'd guess it was
just a screwup. Similarly, the ToC for WJW's Frankensteins and Foreign
Devils has several of the stories out of order. Stuff happens.
1. Which reminded me that Gordon Dickson died five years ago today. Crap.
