Are we talking pure immortality, or do we get eternal youth (or at least
eternal middle-age) too?

Reading Usenet? Almost certainly.
Reading Usenet after having returned from a bike ride? Certainly.
Or are you thinking in larger schemes... such as employment? In that
case, until the house is paid off, yes, I'll seek employment. I need
a place to hold all my books and computers I use to read Usenet.
Once the mortgage is paid off, all I need is enough to keep me in food,
property taxes, books, and toys.
