Hmmm. It doesn't have porteurs. It involves only one additional
dimension explicitly -- though it implies more.
It could be a precursor, either in concept or in reality. I.e., Bulmer
may have intended the characters in LBTM to be doing the same thing as
the people in the Keys stories, but not as knowingly. I can't make a
specific connection, however -- but there may be one.
I've only read _The Wizards of Senchuria_, by the way.
