Heinlein's economics always left much to be desired. In "The Moon is a
Harsh Mistress" the basis of Moon's economy is exporting FOOD to
EARTH?? In "Time Enough for Love" planets with 18th Century tech are a
part of an FTL trade route?? (What do they have to trade? Maybe
handcrafted art, but Heinlein never actually says that.)

Or was this a common omission during "Golden Age of Science Fiction"?
