Indeed, they are closer family members than is possible for any humans
other than identical twin siblings -- each ant in a nest contains
three-quarters the same DNA as each of her sisters. I wish I could
explain in detail how this is possible, but I have forgotten the
explanation -- I know it's in Dawkins' _The Selfish Gene_, and the
bibliography identifies the original source.
