Brother and sister have I none, but that man's father is paying my
ex-wife's child support...
Not really. However, I work in school student recordkeeping on
computer. Which requires confidentiality, but recently a data
translation job went wrong and I had to inspect data to see why, and I
was interested to see in the list of students' parents, guardians, and
other contacts, that one student is equipped with stepfather and
stepmother - how did she do that? Well, all right, several possible
explanations come to mind...
More thoughtfully analytical was the case where relationship-to-student
was specified as "Father Figure"...
