And _Consider Phlebas_ goes into some detail on Mind construction,
specifically the in-hyperspace part (and how annoying it is to have to
leave hyperspace and run at real-space light speeds with an even mor
drastically slowed memory store; the strong implication is that
the inside of a Mind housing is in hyperspace whether or not the
ship it's enclosed in is).
