Hmmmm... De gustibus... I started liking M*A*S*H better when
they got characters that seemed more realistic. Klinger's
flambouant cross-dressing was funny ... but wore thin after a
while. I've always liked Harry Morgan. And Frank Burns was
never anything more than a cardboard target for Hawkeye and
Trapper John to throw darts at. The show was much improved
when Charles Emmerson Winchester III turned up... he was often
able to hold his own against the other characters, and he had
some good qualities; he wasn't always the bad guy.
(No slight of Burghoff; I liked Radar.)
