Reminds me of a story i either read or was told about yonks ago. (Late
'70's?)
Time travel tourism in full swing but in enclosed walkways, a bit like
those through aquiriums nowadays, to stop the visitors influencing the past
and making new branches in "the trousers of time".
Anyway, a butterfly get into the air conditioning and is crushed by a
visitors foot. This butterfly, of course, was on it's way to lay eggs. One
of which was destined to be the caterpillar and then butterfly that a
certain A.Hitler (as a small boy) takes a swipe at with his butterfly net,
misses, and goes head first over a cliff... with hilarious results I
believe is the normal phrase...
