Does this mean that I got lucky with my Crusade set and got the
"controversial" JMS commentary? (I hope, I hope)
Bill
Depends on what you mean by "controversial". The issue was that JMS told what
actually happened with Crusade because he had reached the understanding with WB
that he could say what he wanted before the commentary was ever recorded and
they'd either use it all or use none of it. After he recorded it, WB took
comments that he'd made during an on-camera interview and replaced his comments
about TNT. So in that, they 'de-controversial-ized' JMS' commentary.
However, if you've got even that commentary at all, it's 'controversial' in that
it's not what JMS wanted to say and he made much noise until he got them to
agree to delete all of his commentary per their original 'all or none'
agreement.
