Even here on Earth sleight-of-hand artists have been known to increase
or decrease their bets in the split-second after the result is known.
Now imagine being able to do that while being able to "blind" all the
other players and the dealer to what you've done, while at the same
time getting the dealer to move into a position that blocks the
security cameras' view of what you've just done. Another team was
able to shift the odds in roulette just enough in their favor by
observing and measuring how a given wheel played over thousands of
spins so that they could predict when a given spin was likely to fall
on red or black as soon as it left the croupier's hand - again giving
them time to "adjust" their bets. They made tens of thousands a
night. What if they had been teeps able to control the actions of the
man releasing the ball? About the only game that would be immune from
some kind of manipulation by a teep is a slot machine. Any game
involving human interaction would be a potential target.
