Says here that the writers may continue working under the terms of the old
contract and wait until next summer to strike ... when they can strike
simultaneously with the screen actors and the directors guilds.
That's different from earlier thoughts, when they were talking
about going out now because they thought the producers had planned on
that and would have more things sitting around than if they left now. I
think they were also thinking that the possibility of serial strikes
might be more intimidating.
