Well, I don't think Lennier *consiously* wished for Morden, but no doubt
subconcious currents played a part in the selection of all the
apparitions.
As for the pike, for a Ranger, the pike is part of who s/he is -- an
extension of him/herself; it makes sense to me that it would be part of
his
meditations.
I'd swear Lennier had it deployded and sitting next to him. <<
Methuselah didn't say that it _wasn't_.
