This has been an interesting subject. I'm still not sure Lennier and Morden work for me, but I am rethinking it. And this idea makes sense, I hadn't thought of the pike being by his side as important...but like Luke taking his weapons into the *darkside* cave in Empire Strikes Back, one gets what one asks for.
