Indeed. A flat tax (which at one time I thought would be great) is
extremely regressive. While the percentage doesn't indicate it, the
burden is far harder on those with lower wages. Think about it;
prices for goods and services aren't "a percentage of one's income."
They are fixed prices; therefore, they take far higher percentage of
a low wage than they do of a higher wage.
