Unfortunately, the underlying technology that runs UseNet (i.e.
newsgroups) is ancient by electronic standards and cannot provide the
necessary levels of control to do what would truely be needed.
...such as? What are you interested in?
Worst case, I'd hope that JMS would do an announce-only site.
If JMS wants a blog, I'm sure he can find somebody to set it up.
But it wouldn't replace a newsgroup.
