Re: JMS & B5 at Comic Con This week (2006)

In article <12bobtmmla6dvfd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, Chris Adams says...

Once upon a time, Jan <janmschroeder@xxxxxxx> said:
Anyway, after DragonCon in Atlanta, I'm not sure that anything in a real
convention center could be truly overcrowded. The first DragonCon I attended,
at one point it took me 45 minutes to get across one of the hotel lobbies.
Blech!

D*C is expanding into the Hilton this year (in addition to the Hyatt and
Marriott). The "Walk of Fame" (autograph tables) is moving out of the
dealer room (to everybody's relief), but it will be going to the Hilton
(due to Marriott renovation to the original move target :-( ).

It is going to be a lot of fun!

Thank *heaven* the 'walk of shame' is moving. That was by far the worst area
I've ever seen at any con.

Last I looked at the guest list I was kind of wishing I were going again this
year. Especially since B5 may now have moved to a friendlier track. Who knows?
I managed to drive to the Charlotte con on impulse, I may end up doing something
equally crazy in Sept.
