Anyone watching 4400?

I almost de-TIVO'ed this series after last year--it seemed to be going
nowhere fast.

This year, however, has really come back well. Many of the characters
are becoming quite gray--no longer so black and white. I was annoyed by
the whole rapidly aging baby thing, but I guess it had to happen.

I thought this week's episode really set up some interesting questions
about self-determination. And Isabelle as the inevitable all-powerful
amoral super being seems quite promising. This week's confrontation
with her and Tom Baldwin really surprised me, and did a great job of
knocking the whole series off the "seen it before" track.

I am dreading the whole "changing the timeline, changing the future"
discussion on this one, though. With the future folks actively taking
part in the current timeline, the logic is even more challenging than
usual.

If you'd given up before, give it another try.
