Carved in mystic runes upon the very living rock, the last words of

These interests dominate policy emanating from the Democrat Party.[snip]
The Democrat's traditional constituencies, such as unions, were
already on the opposite side of the aisle from many of the same
groups that the Left found itself opposing, so the merger was pretty
natural. I consider unions to be allies (but not a part of the
actual alliance) because you will find easy policy cross reference
among the groups I list above (they will readily repeat and support
each other's policies and positions) but not many of them have much
time for union support.
The political Left came to full control of the Democrat Party in the
late-70's. I consider the moment when Congress granted the ERA an
extension to be the moment the modern political Left came fully into
its current form.
How very... interesting. And so the Democratic Party is totally
controlled by Lefties, eh? :)
You consider Bill Clinton to be a Leftie, I gather? And every
Democrat?
I just re-read John's entire post, and I don't see that anywhere. Perhaps
you could re-post your quote of his post, and leave in the part where he
says that?
