Well, I wouldn't exactly refer to it as spam. Shameless self
promotion? Sure. However, it's no more spam than people
coming here to advertise items they have for sale on ebay.
My original message was posted to only one group (this one)
because a) I've been reading and posting here since long before
you (though not under this email address) and b) I know
there are a lot of folks here who love cats (including Joe,
as I stated in my original post).

I went through the same process as everyone else to get
approved by the moderation software. As the group charter
states, on topic posts include "Other topics of interest to the
fans in the newsgroup." Cats fall into that description. If you're
not interested in the items I have for sale through CafePress
(where the B5 scripts and and B5 quotes are also being sold),
that's fine. But please don't dismiss it out of hand as nothing
more than spam.

This was a very personal endeavor for me. As I stated before,
the designs are all from pictures of my own cats whom I love
very dearly. After sharing some of the photos I've been taking
this last year with family and friends and having the same
comment come up again and again (that being "Have you
published these photos anywhere?), I decided to try putting
them up for sale via the products on CafePress.

As Jay stated in another post, the problems with the moderation
software that was causing delays appears to have been fixed.
I guess I just happened to have posted after the fix.
