The concept of a corporation is not the problem. Giving a corporation the
same status and legal rights as a natural person, is, and this is fairly

My question is not so much about the law, but the psychology of the people
who allowed this to happen.

I think it's a little bigger than that. The director's moral code (or
lack of) can only affect one person: himself/herself. Even if this were
an ethical person, corporations would still have too much power, and
completely inappropriate (INSANE) legal protections.
